SK FERTILIZER - Zinc is an essential micro nutrient plants need in order to grow efficiently, although the exact role of the chemical in plant growth is still debated among scientists. Zinc sulphate is a common player in the agricultural industry, especially when it comes to countering the various levels of zinc deficiencies many types of plants experience, which can lead to poor plant development and reduced productivity. the amounts of zinc in the soils greatly depends on the parent material of the soil itself. For instance, sandy soils generally have lower concentrations of zinc, while soils that originate from igneous rocks have some of the highest concentration of the substance. The chemical can drive metabolic responses in crops, and support the development and growth of the plant.

SK FERTILIZER - Di-ammonium Phosphate is a concentrated phosphate-based fertilizer. It is perfect for any agriculture crop to provide full phosphorus nutrition throughout crop growth and development, as well as a starter dose of nitrogen and low sulphur. It can be applied in autumn for tilling and in spring during sowing, as well as for pre-sowing cultivation. Dissolving in soil, it provides temporary alkalization of pH of the soil solution around the fertilizer granule, thus stimulating better uptake of phosphorus from the fertilizers on acid soils. Fertilizer’s sulphur also contributes to the better intake of nitrogen and phosphorus by plants.

SK FERTILIZER - Ammonium sulphate [(NH₄)₂ SO₄] was one of the first and most widely used nitrogen (N) fertilizers for crop production. It’s now less common but especially valuable where both N and sulfur (S) are required. Its high solubility provides versatility for a number of agricultural applications. Growers apply ammonium sulfate primarily where they need supplemental N and S to meet the nutritional requirement of growing plants. Since ammonium sulfate contains only 21 percent N, other fertilizer sources more concentrated and economical to handle and transport often make a better choice for Ndeficient fields. However, it provides an excellent source of S, which supports or drives numerous essential plant functions, including protein synthesis.

SK FERTILIZER - Monoammonium phosphate (MAP) is a widely used source of phosphorus (P) and nitrogen (N).* It’s made of two constituents common in the fertilizer industry and contains the most phosphorus of any common solid fertilizer. Apply granular MAP in concentrated bands beneath the soil surface in proximity of growing roots or in surface bands. It’s also commonly applied by spreading it across the field and mixing it into the surface soil via tillage. In powdered form, it’s an important component of suspension fertilizers. When MAP is made with especially pure H₃PO₄, it readily dissolves into a clear solution dispersed as a foliar spray or added to irrigation water. The P₂O₅ equivalent content of high-purity MAP is usually 61 percent.

SK FERTILIZER - Potassium (K) fertilizers are commonly used to overcome plant deficiencies. Where soils cannot supply the amount of K required by crops, farmers must supplement this essential plant nutrient. Potash is a general term used to describe a variety of K-containing agricultural fertilizers. Potassium chloride (KCl), the most commonly used source, is also frequently referred to as muriate of potash, or MOP (muriate is the old name for any chloride-containing salt). Potash production goes into plant nutrition. Farmers spread KCL onto the soil surface prior to tillage and planting. It may also be applied in a concentrated band near the seed. Since dissolving fertilizer will increase the soluble salt concentration, banded KCl is placed to the side of the seed to avoid damaging the germinating plant.

SK FERTILIZER - Urea phosphate is used in agriculture to fertilize a wide variety of soils and for field and horticultural crops. When fertilizing plants through capillary irrigation systems, these fertilizers provide the plants with the nitrogen and phosphorus they need, while the capillaries of irrigation systems are cleaned and protected from various salts and sediments. It is a white crystalline mineral non-chorine nitrogen-phosphorus fertilizer. They are highly concentrated and completely soluble in water.

Single super phosphate (SSP) was the first commercial mineral fertilizer, and it led to the development of the modern plant nutrient industry. This material was once the most commonly used fertilizer, but other phosphorus (P) fertilizers have largely replaced SSP because of its relatively low P content. SSP is an excellent source of three plant nutrients. The P component reacts in soil similarly to other soluble fertilizers. The presence of both P and sulfur (S) in SSP can offer an agronomic advantage where both of these nutrients are deficient. In agronomic studies where SSP is demonstrated to be superior to other P fertilizers, it’s usually because of the S, Ca (or both) that it contains.

SK FERTILIZER - Boron (B) deficiencies in crops are found mainly in soils with low organic matter content, and in acidic, sandy soils in humid regions. Boron availability to plants generally decreases with increasing soil pH, especially above pH 6.5. However soils that are strongly acidic (having a pH less than 5.0) can also be low in available Boron due to the interaction of soil minerals such as iron and aluminum oxide. The most consistent responses to B fertilization have been observed on coarse-textured soils with low organic matter content and on recently limed acidic soils over the whole range of soil textures. Though plants’ boron requirements are very low in amount, their growth and crop yielding are severely affected when there is boron deficiency in the soil.

  • Mineral: Colemanite, which is a naturally occurring calcium borate, is used especially in sandy soils because of its low solubility

SK FERTILIZER - Potassium Sulfate fertilizer of all crops. It combines potassium and sulfur, two nutrients essential for plant growth. SK SOP is a recommended source of potassium where soil pH needs to be lowered, when sulfur is required, or when N application rates should be limited (e.g. at the end of the season). Providing concentrated nutrition, readily available for plant uptake. It enhances plant’s resistance to drought, frost, insects and diseases, thus improving yield and quality. SK SOP helps gaining higher nutritional value of crops, better taste and appearance, and improved suitability for transport and storage. SK SOP is a crystalline product, fast dissolving, highly soluble and virtually free of chloride.
